Press Release On The Action That Took Place In The Istanbul Courthouse

To the Media and the Public,

We are deeply aggrieved by the action that took place in the Istanbul Courthouse and express our condolences to the families of Public Prosecutor M. Selim Kiraz, and Şafak Yayla and Bahtiyar Doğruyol, who were killed during the operation.

We expect that this grave and painful event will be investigated in detail and results will be shared with the public. We would like to express our surprise at the fact that the operation ending with three bodies carried out of the courthouse was described as a “success”.

Again, may those who passed away rest in peace, and our condolences to their families and friends.
