We would like express our joy as you have signed the historic peace agreement, putting an ultimate end to the war for 52 years, killing more than 220 thousand people in your country. To witness such a historic agreement has given us strength as a political party, prioritizing dialogue and peaceful resolutions to social, political and economic problems not just in Turkey, but in the world.
We understand how the destructions of wars could be traumatic and painful for people and nature. As people working for peace in such a country, we believe the agreement, you signed, will be a great inspiration, in terms of ending all the wars reigning over the world. We continue to struggle in order to mainly solve the Kurdish question with peaceful methods, as well as, ending the 32 years of armed conflict. We hope and struggle to ensure peace, reconciliation and dialogue, instead of wars, conflicts and deaths all around the world. Your peace agreement will surely reinforce the power of democratic and political actors, struggling for peace and freedom across the globe.
You have solved problems with dialogue during the four years of difficult negotiation period. We congratulate you wholeheartedly, for your determined stance, and creating the opportunity for people of Colombia on their rightful access to peace. We would like to express our sympathies and solidarity with people of Colombia, who have paid a heavy price during the war.
